UST is seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in the Core Banking domain to manage, coordinate, and deliver projects effectively and within set timelines.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management, and a strong understanding of Core Banking processes. This role involves being the primary liaison between the client PMO/business teams and remote delivery teams, ensuring efficient project delivery through effective planning, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the main coordinator between client PMO/business teams and the remote delivery team, ensuring alignment on project objectives, milestones, and deliverables. Manage strict deadlines without compromising on quality by implementing efficient project coordination strategies. Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and third-party vendors, to ensure seamless project delivery using a hybrid delivery model. Participate in project planning, facilitate workshops, track activities, and provide translation support when local language expertise is needed by the client. Ensure timely project reporting as per agreed governance structures, including delivery tracking, scheduling, and effort analysis to prevent project overruns. Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve critical project issues to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. Distill scheduling and metrics data into clear, concise management reports to provide actionable insights for project stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal/external customers and third-party vendors to drive successful project outcomes.

What you will bring:

Extensive Project Management experience, with a strong focus on the Core Banking domain. Proven ability to act as the key coordinator between client PMO/business teams and remote delivery teams. Demonstrated experience in managing tight deadlines through effective project coordination without sacrificing quality. Familiarity with hybrid delivery models and experience engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external. Competence in project planning, workshop facilitation, and activity tracking. Experience in project reporting, governance schedules, delivery tracking, scheduling, and effort analysis. Proven ability to identify and escalate critical issues promptly. Skilled in compiling and analyzing scheduling and metrics data to create management reports. Experience in building and maintaining key relationships with customers and third-party vendors.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification. Experience with complex Core Banking processes and familiarity with current industry trends. Strong communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English; proficiency in a local language is a plus. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar tools).
