Project Manager-Design

The Role
You'll directly manage the creative planning, execution, and delivery of a variety of design projects, always staying ahead of issues and ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery You'll work closely with designers and partner with studio leaders to constantly improve output. You'll understand needs and constraints, provide feedback to designers and stay up to date on brand and process changes You'll manage projects and complex programs, assigning tasks, providing guidance and support and evaluating performance to help build a positive culture and a high performing team You'll manage the quality of deliverables, ensuring all design work meets our high standards and provide feedback where necessary You'll act as a primary liaison with internal clients. You'll champion their needs, proactively communicate and consult leveraging your expertise regarding the best design processes and any potential tradeoffs to help meet their objectives You'll plan, optimize and track projects, leveraging studio systems to track and report data. You'll organize and maintain files and internal systems You'll assign team members and source freelance contractors and agencies as neededThe Requirement
A Bachelors degree or certificate in marketing, design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience5-10 years at a design, creative or similar company, or within a corporate design teamProficiency in Microsoft Office, and basic knowledge of design software including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Figma. Working knowledge of Workfront is a plusBroad knowledge of print, digital, event and other design processes and workflows and you stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends, technologies and best-practicesA strong command of the English languageA good understanding of the “bigger picture,” helping to spot, diagnose and solve design problems and guide the team's workA history of managing multiple projects in fast-paced environmentsA growth mindset; constantly looking for ways to grow skills, improve our processes and methods and understand the businesses we operate inStrong communication skills, and be an active listener who values the needs of others, proactively facilitating conversations around goals, problems and tradeoffs to drive toward actionable feedbackPeople Management/ Stakeholder ManagementWTW is an equal opportunity employer.
