Project Manager Digital Technology ( Applications & Infrastructure )

Location to be discussed: Poland – Warsaw or Siewierz or Spain – Barcelona

Reporting to Director, Program Management Office

Project Manager  will lead a wide variety of projects across the DT Applications and Infrastructure departments. DT projects range from highly complex technology-based projects, which change technical platforms and architectures to strategic business projects that significantly change the business processes and practices to multiple low-cost, short duration enhancement projects.

​​​The DT Project portfolio typically has over 100 active projects at any time. These projects are sponsored by our business supply chains, business segments, and global process management teams worldwide delivering DT solutions and services. Project types include infrastructure and application-based DT solutions both internally built and externally purchased or hosted.

 

As the DT Project Manager, you will:
 

Handle multiple medium and/or moderately complex projects, which support multiple business areas and geographiesLead project teams from demand through execution to meet stated business and project objectivesEstablish and measure key project objectivesClarify, develop, evaluate and detail individual project plansWork on risk identification, assessment, and mitigationEnsure project team cohesiveness where team members are in multiple locations and of diverse cultural backgroundsBalance business desires/requirements with IT possibilities and cost constraints

As the DT Project Manager, you are or already have:

Min. University degree. Proven Project experience base which includes Project Management of Applications Systems and Services, Project Management of Mergers, and/or Acquisitions and Divestitures. Infrastructure experience as it relates to Application projects.Project Management of SAP Deployments (or enterprise equivalent) for both ERP and HR areas. Project Management of custom development solutionsProject Management Professional Certification or Project Management Certification highly desiredKnowledge and experience in creating/maintaining schedules, project cost management, risk and issue management, and communications management.Handle project scope and project change management.Experience in building client and customer relationshipsProven verbal and written communicationAbility to seek information; you are a conceptual problem solver who takes initiativeProfessional confidence; you make an impact on and influence othersWilling to take ownership - achievement drivenAble to hold teams and individuals accountable and lead change effortsLead teams focusing on teamwork and partnershipAbility to demonstrate knowledge of industryFamiliar with IT Project Execution Methodologies: waterfall, Agile and hybridUser of project management tools – Planview a plus
