About the team
The Banking Delivery team supports banking and retail clients, with a very wide platform base covering savings, loans and cards products across the UK, Germany and Netherlands.
We support end-to-end platforms, hosted and licenced, and delivering change onto these platforms ranging from the smallest functional Change Request to large projects and programs of client facing and internal work. In key markets, we manage the onboarding and migration of new clients onto FIS hosted platforms.
The team is primarily based across the UK, Germany, Austria and Poland but also works with key teams in Asia and North America. We bring together teams comprising business analysts, project managers, architects, developers and testers to deliver our change work, working alongside global specialists in infrastructure, service transition and implementation and production support.
We will look to rotate the successful candidate through multiple teams during the 2 year programme, to ensure that the wide variety of work within the organisation is experienced. This will provide involvement in both PMO (Project Management Office) and PM, to see all aspects of the project lifecycle; with other opportunities such as business analysis, delivery management and testing depending on the work and projects available and your areas of interest.
What you will be doing
In this role you will be responsible for various aspects of the project lifecycle including client facing, internal enhancement and/or maintenance projects within our banking platform. The role will include dealing with external clients and internal stakeholders and working as part of a project team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the defined scope.
Examples of day-to-day responsibilities in the role:
Support delivery of key projects against agreed budgets and timescales from contract signature through to live production.
Work alongside various teams to develop, define, and execute project plans, project scope, schedules, budgets, and key deliverables for example business analysis artefacts.
Maintain and develop business relationships with assigned clients or internal stakeholders through project kick off meetings, and ongoing project meetings presenting a professional image.
Monitor various aspects of the project to ensure it meets company standards, methodologies, and quality assurance guidelines.
Control, monitor and report progress against plan and support any corrective action required to meet delivery obligations.
Support the management of project risks, issues/problems and activity progress to ensure project goals, e.g., deadline, scope and quality are achieved. Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed.

An interest in financial technology, including banking/payments technology and products
German language skills would be very helpful but not mandatory
