  The Position Proposition:                                                                                                                                                                     

Colorado Power Utilities is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Project Manager I / Assistant Project Manager. This multifaceted role blends operational efficiency with project management support, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute significantly to our company's success. You will be responsible for supporting both day-to-day administrative functions and selected aspects of project management, collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth operations and successful project execution. This position requires a blend of strong administrative skills and familiarity with project management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Support: Coordinate and prioritize daily operational tasks, ensuring timely completion. Manage administrative processes, including record-keeping, filing, and data entry using Dayforce HTM Software, Vista Viewpoint, Simplex & Daily Excel Logs. Maintain effective communication channels with team members, clients, and vendors, leveraging social media marketing proficiency where appropriate. Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and other materials using Microsoft Office/365. Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, and expense management; conduct financial statement analysis. Process purchase orders and change orders. Perform data reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Project Support: Assist Project Managers in developing and maintaining project schedules using Hexagon, LinePro PM, Ecosyst, & Smartsheets software. Track project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and escalate as needed. Support the procurement process by assisting with document preparation and vendor communication. Participate in project meetings and contribute to effective communication within the project team. Prepare and distribute project-related reports and documentation.    Educational & Minimum Requirements:                                                                                                                                           Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; social media/marketing proficiency a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office/365 Suite and Dayforce HTM Software. Experience with Hexagon and LinePro project management software is highly preferred. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be an adaptive and efficient learner. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities; experience with accounting, financial statement analysis, and budgeting is essential. Experience with purchase orders and change orders is required. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in the Utilities industry is a plus but not required. Relevant project support experience is preferred.
