Job Description•Drive the design and development of analog/mixed-signal circuits, ensuring compliance with performance specifications through discussions and design reviews. Proficient in analog and digital circuit design, including PCB layout, op-amps, A/D converters, microcontrollers, and communication hardware.
•Incorporate mechanical design elements, such as ECU housing, ensuring structural integrity and compatibility with thermal management strategies for optimal durability and reliability. Conduct thermal tests to validate performance under environmental conditions, enhancing product longevity.
•Lead ECU hardware development in line with the defined development process. Configure ECU circuit modules, define inputs/outputs, and generate electrical schematics based on customer requirements.
•Manage BOM and drawings release through internal workflow tools. Conduct EMC testing at the component level for safe project release, and finalize D-FMEA documentation as required.
•Initiate and manage DV/PV test plans, coordinating with the QTL team and compiling test reports for customers. Provide technical support for both quoted and active projects, including customer-specific ECU tests and report generation.
•Develop vehicle testing equipment as required, including switch control boxes, warning lamp boxes, and troubleshooters, to support testing and validation.
•Support the transition from design to manufacturing with expertise in assembly procedures, inspection plans, test fixtures, and field troubleshooting. Ensure manufacturing processes align with design specifications to uphold product quality and reliability.
•Utilize in-depth knowledge of ABS/ESC electrical architecture to negotiate performance specifications with customers and maintain internal documentation. Engage in customer design and technology reviews, ensuring alignment with Continental’s roadmap and mitigating timing risks in active projects.
•Provide technical leadership in project-driven environments, championing best practices and fostering a collaborative team culture. Mentor and develop team members to reach their potential, ensuring effective teamwork to meet project milestones. Collaborate cross-functionally on manufacturability, serviceability, and product requirements to deliver robust solutions.
