TE Connectivity’s Engineering Project Management Teams manage cross functional engineering projects. They work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to assure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations. They are responsible for defining and creating project schedules, portfolio management, communication and execution of programs, identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution, while adhering to LeanPD processes.

Tasks and Responsibilities

 

Lead the execution of the agreed transfer implementation plan. Track transfer implementation action plan from initiation until execution and customer approval according to the defined timeline.   Ensure timely information / escalation in case of bottlenecks and prepare pragmatic action plans / proposals for management approval. Coordinate and Monitor transfers according to transfer & New project implementation procedure.  Collaborate very closely with all operations teams on the transfer of tools and processes. Regularly reporting to Management on a weekly basis. What your background should look like:

 

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or related science. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position. Excellent writing, documentation, and oral communication skills. Basic Knowledge of current automotive products.  Strong ability to successfully lead and develop project/virtual teams. Analytical problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task and work with conflicting design demands.  Ability to work in multi-functional areas and overcome barriers.
