Role Summary
The Project Engineer/Manager, part of the Cormano QRC Team, will be responsible for managing orders for spare parts, industrial pump repairs and new products using assigned project teams, as well as established standards, practices and tools within Flowserve. He/she will work directly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all project activities are regularly communicated to the customer and are performed according to the technical specifications and agreed upon project terms and conditions.
Your Role
The PM/PE must demonstrate accountability for total project execution, performance and safety on all assigned projects.
Improve customer relationships by creating a work environment free from adverse circumstances or perceptions for both parties, that meets or exceeds customer performance expectations.
Ensure a “clean order” prior to the start of work on an assigned project and utilize the change management system to control the scope of work and associated costs, throughout the duration of the project.
Manage spending expectations for each assigned project.
Communicate project milestones, status updates and any existing or potential customer escalation issues to all stakeholders. Follow proper escalation processes and take overall responsibility for all relationships.
Order Management and resolution of any issues by providing support to the Customer and interfacing with production.
Prepare technical and economic feasibility study with Quotation processing.
Recording of Customer order in SAP (spares, repairs, new pumps and services).
Expediting on orders assigned to external Suppliers and affiliates.
Operational management of logistics, movement of goods in the various WIP phases to and from suppliers/customers. Organization of field service activities at Customers with management of commercial and organizational aspects with the Customer. Preparation of safety documentation for on-site access, management of suppliers involved and the related commercial relationship.
Sales Management, OTD, PDBL and Forecast.
Maintaining backlog delivery dates in the system, forecasting revenue and implementing production schedules.
Your Profile
BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years of previous experience in the rotating equipment industry.
Experience in using SAP, Microsoft Office, reading technical drawings.
Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills, including experience in facilitating meetings and workshops.
Team building, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Adaptability, flexibility and proactivity.
Fluent in Italian and English.
