Project Manager (Engineering) – Mining & Sustainable Capital Projects
Location: Perth CBD
Indicative assignment length: 12-month contract, with the possibility of a full-time staff role thereafter

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and skilled Project Manager (Engineering) to join a leading team based in Perth. This role involves overseeing and delivering complex engineering projects within the Sus Cap sector, ensuring successful execution from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
 

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget Develop comprehensive project plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure smooth communication and collaboration Identify project risks and implement effective strategies to mitigate them Supervise and guide the work of team members, including engineers, designers, and technical specialists Mentor junior project managers and team members, providing leadership and guidance Ensure all projects adhere to relevant industry regulations, standards, and quality requirements



What you'll need to succeed

Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Demonstrated experience in project management within an engineering consultancy setting.

Comprehensive knowledge of EPCM delivery models and multi-client scheduling.

A minimum of 10 years of project management experience within the engineering and/or mining industry.

Proven expertise in budget management, resource planning, and change management.

Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with high-level
stakeholders.

A strategic mindset with a focus on delivering innovative, sustainable solutions.
