Project Manager - Epic Beaker Go-Live

CTG is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the GoLive implementation of Epic Beaker, our laboratory information system. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the project team, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring a seamless transition from the current system to Epic Beaker. Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Execution: Develop, maintain, and execute the GoLive project plan, ensuring all milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget. Team Leadership: Lead a diverse project team, including internal staff and external consultants, to ensure successful project outcomes. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including laboratory staff, IT department, and leadership team, to ensure alignment and address any concerns. Training and Support: Oversee the development and delivery of training programs for end-users to ensure they are fully prepared for the new system. Issue Resolution: Identify, track, and resolve any issues or risks that may arise during the GoLive process. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all aspects of the implementation meet the highest quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. Post-Implementation Support: Provide support during the initial post-GoLive period to ensure smooth transition and address any immediate issues. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Healthcare, Information Technology, Business Administration) or equivalent experience. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare IT. Prior experience with Epic Beaker implementations is highly preferred. Certification: PMP or other relevant project management certification is desirable. Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure Proficiency in project management software and tools Knowledge of laboratory workflows and regulatory requirements Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
