Job Description
Develop new business for the Company in line with the Company's strategy and long-term goals. Develop and maintain client relationships. Be proficient in developing conceptual estimates at an early stage in the project. Communicate and turn over complete, detailed estimates to the Service Operations team. Consult with clients on the performance of mechanical system operations, resulting in budget-based projects that meet the client’s needs supporting system performance and energy conservation. Create job estimates and prepare project budgets and proposals. Track all sales leads and opportunities in the CRM (currently Unanet). Estimate and negotiate change orders. Track, forecast, and report labor hours and material costs. Buyout equipment, fixtures, specials, and subcontracts. Expedite and track deliveries of materials, fixtures, specials, and equipment. Help track and expedite subcontractor long lead materials and equipment. Maintain working knowledge of accounts (clients), work scope, and specifications of projects developed and contracted. Maintain and control documents in compliance with UMC Standards as well as contractual compliance. Supervise Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators including weekly, monthly, and annual coaching, mentoring, and training. Collaborate with field labor supervision to plan, organize, and schedule project work including preparation of subcontracts. Create and manage all project schedules in Smartsheet. Review contract drawings, detail drawings, and specifications. Ensure effective communication with UMC engineering staff to ensure complete designs that convey clear scope and remain within the project’s established budget. Provide proactive, clear, and timely communication to the team. Ensure full compliance with the UMC Safety Program on job sites. Be professional and uphold UMC Core Values. Onsite/Hybrid flexibility. The company also offers (7) paid holidays, plus (1) Floating Holiday to be used within the calendar year.

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $145000.00/yr.
