Project Manager - Financial Systems

We are seeking a Project Manager for our Financial Systems technology division. This role is responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing complex technology initiatives to ensure they align with strategic priorities and are delivered on time and within budget.The Project Manager will collaborate with leadership to define business cases, establish key performance indicators (KPIs), and articulate clear success criteria. Core responsibilities include monitoring project progress, proactively mitigating risks, and ensuring transparent communication of plans, status, and issues to all stakeholders and senior management.
This position requires expertise in various project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and experience managing both SaaS (Software as a Service) and custom development solutions.


What you’ll do:
Lead the end-to-end management of key initiatives, from strategic planning and design through to successful implementation and delivery.
Collaborate with leadership and business units to develop detailed business cases, defining project scope, budget, timelines, and resource requirements.
Manage project execution by ensuring adherence to schedules, defining and tracking success metrics (KPIs), and monitoring progress against established goals.
Proactively identify and manage all project risks and dependencies by developing mitigation plans, leading remediation discussions, and escalating any issues that may block delivery.
Serve as the central point of communication, providing timely and transparent updates on project status, plans, and risks to all team members, stakeholders, and senior management.
Drive the implementation and use of project management methodologies to optimize team performance and ensure successful outcomes.


What experience you need:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or equivalent experience.
Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is strongly preferred.
Professional Experience: 5-7 years of experience in technology planning, project management, program management, or a related field.
Methodologies & Tools: Expertise with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., Jira).
Program Management: Experience managing complex programs, particularly those involving significant change management.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively lead project communications with both technical and business audiences.
Resource Planning: Proven ability to forecast and plan resource requirements for complex initiatives, with experience in capacity and incremental planning.
Agile Delivery: Demonstrated success in building and managing medium-to-large delivery functions using Agile methodology.
Systems Proficiency: Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., Oracle) or ERPs.
Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (e.g., Docs, Sheets, Gmail) is a plus.
