Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Lead the project team in the development, planning, and execution of the Waste-to-Energy Power Project. Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure efficient project delivery. Stakeholder Management: Effectively coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all environmental regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks to minimize their impact on project timelines and budgets. Performance Monitoring: Monitor project progress, performance metrics, and key performance indicators to ensure optimal results. Reporting: Prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, financial reports, and risk assessments, for senior management and stakeholders. Team Development: Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, motivating and empowering team members to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical), Environmental Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Proven experience in project management within the energy sector, with a strong focus on power plant projects, particularly coal-fired or biomass power plants preferably with at least 3-5 years of experience. In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage diverse teams and stakeholders. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite. PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
