Project Manager\/ H-47

General Description\n

Tyonek Services Group, Inc. is seeking an H-47 Project Manager in support of medium lift helicopter program requirements. This individual will be responsible for the technical leadership of all H-47 projects to ensure fulfillment of contractual obligations including flight, maintenance, quality, and schedule while maintaining company objectives. The Project Manager ensures that projects and Task Orders within H-47 programs produce the required deliverables within the specified constraints of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits as defined by the Program Manager. Contributes to corporate and program process improvement initiatives as it relates to improvement of the Quality Management System and adheres to quality and production control guidelines throughout the life cycle of the program. This includes management of issues, risks, and change requests to ensure successful and on-time CDRL delivery.\n

Duties\n\nResponsible for technical oversight of projects and task orders within quality, and schedule constraints\nCoordinates the efforts of the functional departments, as required, to ensure that projects are conducted in accordance with the requirements of the contract and statements of work.\nActs as primary contact for assigned integration activities, leading technical performance.\nFamiliar with a variety of aviation systems, related concepts, and practices and procedures.\nContributes to the development of budgets, resources, and deadlines.\nContributes to the development of project schedules and project deliverables.\nCommunicates goals, scope, technical approach, and schedule requirements to the Project Team.\nConstantly assesses project performance and formulates, organizes, and monitors progress reports.\nMust possess superior communication skills with experience in interfacing directly with the government Contracting Officer's Representatives, and customer designated representatives.\nInnovation, flexibility, and initiative are important attributes, as well as the ability to work under unusual or extreme pressures.\nMust have excellent risk, change, and resource management skills.\nFacilitates the planning and execution of Ferry Flights, Maintenance Test Flights, Maintenance Operational Checks, track and balance, vibration checks and special testing as required.\nConducts any other integration and\/or support efforts as needed or directed.\nProvides detailed and effective communications with flight and ground maintenance personnel as well as the customer on results of flight, maintenance and engineering\/integration activities.\nMust be able to work overtime and weekends as deemed necessary.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\n

Education\/Experience Requirements\n\nBachelor's degree in aviation maintenance or business preferred.\nMust be a graduate of the CH-47 Medium Helicopter Repairer Course. \nMust be a graduate of the Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course\/ Advanced Leaders Course. \nMust be a graduate of the H-47 Flight Engineer Instructor Course and have 10 years' experience as a Flight Engineer on CH-47\/F and\/or MH-47G aircraft. \nMust have a minimum of fifteen (15) years' experience in aircraft maintenance.\nMust have five (5) years' experience working in an aviation flight test environment.\nMust hold a valid, current FAA or military Class III Medical Certificate.\nMust be a US Citizen.\nMust have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.\nMeet all requirements as a Non-Rated Crewmember IAW service guidance for specific design, type, series aircraft for which duties are to be performed in.\nFAA Airframe and Powerplant certification desired but not required.\nWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.\n\n

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.\n\nMust be able to walk and stand on level and\/or inclined surfaces for up to twelve (12) hours per day and sit for up to eight (8) hours per day.\nMust be able to perform non-rated crewmember duties during flight operations.\nMust be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth.\nMust be able to climb stairs.\nMust be able to grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow\/knee and reach above\/below shoulders.\nMust be able to see aircraft in flight, read dials\/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools.\nMust be physically capable of climbing vertical ladders or aircraft steps to heights of 10-12 feet.\nMay be exposed to chemical mist, gas, vapors, ultra-violet and infrared radiation.\nMay be required to lift fifty (50) pounds to a height of four (4) feet and be required to lift twenty (20) pounds to a height of seven (7) feet.\nMay be exposed to rapid or extreme temperature changes.\n\n
