Project Manager Heavy Civil
Ultimate LLC has an immediate need for a **Project Manager Heavy Civil Construction in (Nashville, TN).** **Salary is $70-$115k depending on experience.** Our client, a Nashville-based Heavy Civil/Water/Wastewater Construction Company, is seeking qualified candidates to fill an immediate position as a Project Manager. Our work environment offers the benefits and flexibility of a small company with the professional opportunities and rewards of a large corporation. **Project Manager duties** include all functions related to coordination of the work, scheduling, budget management, quality control, and safety procedures. Candidate must be able to successfully organize, manage, log, and monitor project documents (budget, subcontracts, purchase orders, plans, specifications, RFI's, change documents, submittals, communications records, as-built documents, operations and maintenance manuals, meeting minutes, etc.) and provide general support to the project team. Construction monitoring tasks include interpretation of construction drawings, understanding of the construction process, measurement of work in place, quality assurance, field observations, development of RFI's, and problem solving. Must develop and maintain positive working relationship with counterparts at owner and engineering firms. **Qualifications:** B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field of study is preferred but not necessary. Candidate must have five (5) or more years' experience in the process of heavy civil/water/wastewater construction. Strong written and oral communication skills are required. Detail and task oriented with strong work ethic. You need to possess the ability to think practically in order to solve job-site problems and interface effectively with superintendents and other project personnel. Applicant must have excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and familiarity with scheduling (Primavera, MS Project) and estimating quantity take-off and pricing. **Benefits** : Company benefits include paid vacation, paid holidays, health and dental insurance, vehicle allowance, bonuses, 401k matching and profit sharing.
