Location: North Chicago, Illinois (On-site for the first three months, with potential for remote work after training)Job Type: ContractCompensation Range: $35 - 40 per hourOur client in the pharmaceutical space is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Compliance Specialist to ensure the compliant execution of projects within a matrixed organization. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring project and supplier compliance, supporting procurement processes, and maintaining thorough documentation. Your work will support adherence to regulations and internal standards in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Project Compliance Review:
Run monthly reports to identify completed projects.
Review project documentation for compliance with Pharmacovigilance, OEC, Finance, and Procurement standards.
Follow up with researchers and suppliers to collect or correct missing details.
Record results and collaborate with management to identify systemic issues and risk reduction plans.
Supplier Compliance:
Conduct and renew supplier evaluations for U.S. and International Market Research suppliers.
Document supplier evaluations in Insight Farm, the project management and compliance system.
Coordinate vendor qualification assessments and ensure completion.
Supplier Onboarding:
Manage the onboarding of new suppliers, including collecting and submitting required documents.
Track supplier requests in DSP and ensure approvals are completed.
Update supplier information in Insight Farm.
PO/POCN Support:
Review and process PO/POCN requests for accuracy and completeness.
Maintain and update cost center and internal order lists.
Track approval timelines and ensure timely processing in SRM/SAP.
Team Mailbox Management:
Monitor and categorize incoming emails to the shared team mailbox.
Process requests, escalate issues as needed, and manage ad hoc tasks.
Qualifications:
2-3 years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical or market research industry.
Strong problem-solving and investigatory skills.
Ability to quickly learn compliance systems, requirements, and procedures.
Experience working in a matrixed organization/environment.
Excellent communication skills - thorough, concise, and professional.
Knowledge of SAP and SNAPP is strongly desired.
Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and maintaining attention to detail.
