Project Manager II
The Project Manager II is responsible for simultaneously overseeing and leading multiple medium to large technology projects within specified timeframe, scope and costs. This role involves gathering and controlling project scope, managing the implementation and delivery of new technology and infrastructure capabilities across our venues while involving multiple cross functional stakeholders to ensure a successful rollout. This role is assigned work of moderate to high complexity and with limited assistance from more senior team members. **Job Responsibilities** + Planning: Work with our business partners to figure out what needs to get done, and then with the appropriate delivery teams to document their needs and feedback. Prepare detailed project plans and schedules to meet project goals, revising as necessary. Engage necessary resources, defining roles and responsibilities within project team. + Execution: Responsible for all high-level project documentation and ongoing communications. Manages day to day operational aspects of projects, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality. Develop and manage to release schedule, including test, launch support, and business readiness. + Assists the IT PMO in defining and implementing project best practices. It’s a team effort, we need your help! Advise and mentor more junior team members. + Interview new team member candidates. **Critical Skills & Experience Requirements** + Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent work experience (PMP or Prince Certification preferred) + 5+ years leading large scale projects + 3+ years leading cross-functional teams + 5+ years Project Budgeting + 5+ years Technology Procurement + International Partner Management preferred + International Travel preferred + Create and maintain project schedules in MS-Project or similar tools; managing task dependency, resourcing, milestones, etc. + Ability to establish credibility with business partners and IT stakeholders and become a trusted partner + Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making + Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles + Analytical thinking, and Time management skills + Strong customer focus + Organizational and administrative skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) + Technical troubleshooting skills + Travel: 30 to 40% ADA The above statements cover what are generally believed to be principal and essential functions of the job.
