Duties: The Project Manager II at Cleveland Clinic’s Administrative Campus (3050 Science Park Drive, Beachwood, OH 44122) provides project management for the Clinic’s International Operations international healthcare partnerships and projects with a primary focus on Asia Pacific (APAC) initiatives. He or she is the primary point person between the designated project partner and Cleveland Clinic, coordinating and collaborating in all aspects of their respective service/contract deliverables, tracking milestones, and setting expectations with team members and other stakeholders. The Project Manager II leads the analysis and negotiation coordination of various projects in APAC region, including affiliation projects, advisory services opportunities, and digital health initiatives; performs business operations analysis to ensure efficient use of resources based on budget, timeline, and program restrictions; analyzes and reports Cleveland Clinic annual input based on departments and caregivers’ position level via Excel PivotTable and Tableau; manages supply chain, general operations, and marketing workstreams; creates statistical reports; and provides recommendations on APAC region global project operational plans based on operations improvement analyses. Other duties include: developing and managing budgets; conducting audits and cost analyses on designated contracted engagements to support team revenue and margin targets related to annual budget targets; participating in strategic planning and coordinating closely with internal teams including International Finance, Legal, and Strategy Office; performing market research, deep analysis, vetting, prioritization and executive presentation on APAC partner opportunities and markets, including regional healthcare market trends, competitor analysis, affiliation targets, advisory services, digital health, and education-related engagements; overseeing and editing relevant partner documentation; and administering IP transfers to contract partners. International travel across the globe and including Southeast Asia, South America, and the Middle East in trips ranging from three days to two weeks at a time. Occasional evening and weekend hours as needed. Intermittent telecommuting permitted.
Requirements: At a minimum, the position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, Management or closely related field or foreign equivalent as evidenced by a credentials evaluation and three (3) years of experience coordinating or managing various projects. Experience to include two (2) years of experience in each of the following areas: conducting business operations analysis to ensure compliance with budget, timeline, and program restrictions; managing workstreams; creating statistical reports; conducting market research on Asia Pacific (APAC) region, including APAC healthcare trends and competitor analysis; providing support to international healthcare partnerships/initiatives including key project milestone tracking; using Microsoft Excel.
