Overview TRC Advanced Energy (TRC) is a nationally known energy efficiency consultancy. TRC collaborates with clients to develop and implement market transforming programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building in multiple market sectors across the US and around the world. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC acts nationally to address some of our country’s most challenging problems: global climate change and energy independence. TRC desires to hire a Project Manager II to support for Empire Building Challenge, as well as other progams under the Advanced Efficiency Solutions team as needed. Provide support to program partners including Real Estate Owners, MEP firms, and low carbon solution providers. Responsibilities Execute program tasks and participate as member of Empire Building Challenge team, and the Heat Recovery Team, as well as other programs under the Advanced Efficiency Solutions team. Support technical project scoping and development for energy retrofits of high-rise commercial and multifamily buildings. Work closely with NYSERDA team members to create market facing resources such as best practices and case studies. Participate in a process to test, measure and adjust to maximize success. Perform data analysis to support reporting, program improvement and new strategy development. Make recommendations for improvements to NYSERDA’s strategies and business processes. Provide excellent project management support for EBC program partners (building owners, MEP firms, solution providers), among others. Work closely with program partners to facilitate collaboration and problem solving. Other duties as assigned to support the key outcomes for the Advanced Efficiency Solutions Team. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required. Strong project management and excellent critical thinking skills. Attention to detail with a problem-solver orientation, and an aptitude for process improvements. Ability to manage scope, schedule and budget of project agreements and other program support agreements. Strengths to support strategic market engagement and partnership development. An effective communicator with outstanding external and customer communication (written and verbal) skills. The mindset to take on new challenges and work with a variety of key market actors on high visbility projects. Familiarity with the NYC real estate market, and the fundamental concepts of building decarbonization; Strong technical understanding of building science, the retrofit industry and energy management. Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
