Position Objective:
Responsible for the planning, implementation, and successful execution of multiple projects in common or focused specialty areas (finance, radiology, infrastructure, etc...). The PM will be responsible for managing multiple projects throughout initiation, implementation, and closeout. The PM will have close coordination and cross coverage with team members for resiliency and support.
The job responsibilities include management and oversight of all facets of project execution to include developing and implementing project plans, cost management, schedule management, managing internal and external project teams, contract administration, quality, safety, regulatory compliance, communication, and reporting. Specific skills such as managing Budget, Decision Trackers, Risk Registers, RACI Charts, WBS, Scope Documents and other high level project documentation tools are required.

Project Management: Independent creation of project plans, managing meetings, communication, and follow-up between meetings to move each project to conclusion as identified in work plans and documents. Organizes and provides structure to projects and deliverables as required along with managing activities and actions to meet delivery objectives. Risk Management: Deep, proactive, look-ahead analysis of schedules, costs, and resources to identify potential problems, develop solutions, implement corrective action plans, and communicate with key personnel. Handles decisions about planning and implementation actions to resolve project issues within time and budget constraints. Project Team Management: Leads and coordinates the efforts of multi-disciplinary teams in the execution of projects to ensure the team(s) meets performance goals and expectations. De-escalates concerns and conflict by project team members addressing issues as the occur. Standardized and Consistent Execution: Assists in the development and application of standards to technology related projects for security, high reliability/redundancy, and support documentation. Responsible for creating, tracking, maintaining and auditing budgets for assigned projects. Communication and Status: Develop, maintain and communicate project status reports inclusive of key decisions, critical activities, key dates, and issues. Responsible for creating, tracking, managing, and maintaining project schedules. Sponsor and operational level communication and coordination addressing risks and concerns when shared.Educational/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business management, a related field, or equivalent experience. 5 years of project management experience. 3 years of information systems experience. Experience in health care environment preferred.Required License/Certifications:
Project Management Accreditation (PMI, Prince 2 or similar) required.Working Conditions, Equipment, Physical Demands:
There is a reasonable expectation that employees in this position will not be exposed to blood-borne pathogens.
Physical Demands – Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
