Our client, a leader in project management and business solutions, is seeking a Project Manager II to join their team. As a Project Manager II, you will be part of the project management department supporting various business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Project Manager II
**Location:** Waukegan, IL
**Pay Range:** $80-$85/hr on w2
**What's the Job?**
+ Lead large project delivery or functional areas within overall programs, ensuring performance and outcomes.
+ Initiate and maintain schedules for projects and program milestones, establishing priorities for project teams.
+ Direct project execution by assigning tasks, tracking schedules, identifying risks, and developing contingency plans.
+ Provide project management consultation and mentorship through various project phases and deliverables.
+ Resolve project issues by collaborating with business relationship managers, customers, and partners.
**What's Needed?**
+ At least 10-12 years of experience in project management, software development, or deployment.
+ Experience navigating large organizations and understanding complex stakeholder relationships.
+ Strong leadership skills with a passion for translating findings into strategic recommendations.
+ Proven ability to design and optimize processes effectively.
+ Demonstrated ability to assess customer/client needs and creatively approach solutions.
