Job Title Project Manager III Agency Texas A&M Agrilife Research Department Animal Science Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location College Station, Texas Job Type Staff Job Description Job Description The Project Manager III under general direction, develops and implements strategies to elevate engagement with various internal and external stakeholders. This role oversees strategic initiatives, including external relations, donor engagement, and departmental communications content creation, to effectively communicate the department's mission, achievements, and impact. Responsibilities ·Develop and implement strategies and projects to elevate engagement with various internal and external stakeholders. ·Facilitate increased communication between the department, TAMU Foundation, and TAMU AgriLife Marketing and Communications. ·Formulate and implement strategies to elevate the department's profile and effectively communicate its mission and achievements in coordination with TAMU AgriLife Marketing and Communications. ·Prepare targeted individual donor reports, in coordination with the TAMU Foundation, and comprehensive departmental annual reports to keep donors and stakeholders informed and engaged with the department's progress and needs. ·Ensure the development of video content and journalistic stories that highlight the department's research breakthroughs, educational programs, and Extension outreach efforts. ·Lead, monitor, and evaluate social media platforms, and suggest new ways to engage target markets via existing and emerging interactive technologies. ·Oversee internal events and internal communications. ·Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience:-Bachelor’s degree in related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.-Seven years of related experience in public relations, marketing, communications or development, preferably within the agricultural or animal sciences sectors. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ·Demonstrated expertise in managing social media platforms and content management systems. ·Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. ·Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. ·Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders, and effectively organize and plan on a detailed, task-oriented basis. ·Ability to develop and execute strategic plans that align with organizational goals and effectively engage target audiences. ·Strong relationship-building capabilities to effectively collaborate with donors, industry partners, faculty, and students. All positions are security-sensitive.
