N CPF Level: P4 Location: San Antonio Dept.: Project Management Operations Business Unit: BioBridge Global **General Summary** This role is responsible for managing projects across all BioBridge locations and subsidiaries. Project Manager III is responsible for creating and maintaining various types of project management documentation. Project Manager III manages multiple small to large projects including reviewing/ensuring scope definition, constructing a project plan, including but not limited to, a project schedule, communications plan, quality plan, implementation plan, and risk management plan. The Project Manager III must have ability to lead, manage, and coordinate both business and technology resources to ensure projects and services meet and/or exceed goals, and are completed within established time frames and budget requirements. Provide world class customer service by capturing and being responsive to the voice of the customer (internal or external, including donors for select positions) through multiple feedback channels in order to resolve issues and drive satisfaction in accordance with the BBG customer engagement, feedback, and complaint processes. It is essential that the incumbent have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old with a good driving record to meet organization driving standards. **Major Duties and Responsibilities** Essential Tasks Facilitate and lead various types of meetings and presentations. Plan and manage multiple medium to large scale projects in accordance with the Project Management department’s methodology. Manage the most complex and/or largest projects, including project recovery activities to include consulting or taking over projects in crisis. Manage programs, including relationships and dependencies between projects and business unit initiatives. Track data across the entire portfolio, and maintain dashboards for reporting to executive leadership. Lead project review board meetings, as needed. Provide consulting to assist in pre and post-project activities, including project discovery/business case development, and ROI monitoring. Champion quality across the project management office, and foster collaboration and project reviews among all project managers and business leads. Provide mentorship and guidance to more junior or associate project managers. This may include direct and indirect supervision, performance appraisals, and goal development. Provide project management training and coaching to project management office and project leaders in the business units. Identify clearly the project's scope, business requirements, approach, stakeholders, schedule, risks, acceptance criteria, and more. Form and lead core teams of cross-functional/cross-subsidiary subject matter experts, build accurate project schedules, track tasks and report on project progress until the product, service, and/or capability is tested and launched. Integrate all aspects of the project, ensure that the proper knowledge and resources are available when and where needed and ensure that the expected results are produced in a timely, cost-effective manner. Resolve escalations/jeopardizes identified by project teams, and escalate to management when necessary for prompt resolution. Perform timely and accurate project status reporting to all project stakeholders. Maintain a repository of all project-related documents for use throughout the project. Perform ongoing coordination with vendors and client organizations. Assist management in the development of standard Project Management methodologies based on PMBOK standards with regards to project initiation, planning, execution, control and closure. Participate in department strategic planning. Apply and measure department strategic goals to his/her own workload, when applicable. Manage vendor relationships for projects requiring an outside vendor. Keep project management knowledge and skills current by attending various training and professional development during the year. Performs other duties as assigned. Non-Essential Tasks Run departmental errands as needed. **Education** Requires a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Licenses and/or Certifications Local Operators Driver’s License Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred **Experience** Requires seven or more years of project management experience. Requires experience presenting and reporting to executive-level staff and project review boards. Prefer five or more years of engineering experience in Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial fields. Prefer three or more years in PMO setting experience. Prefer Project Management experience in a healthcare or life sciences environment. Prefer managing vendors and technologies experience. Prefer strong background in Lean and Six Sigma Methodologies. **Knowledge** Must have an understanding of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and knowledge areas that define a managed project. Must have an understanding of fundamental project management methods and tools. Must have knowledge of business process analysis and industry/functional best practices. Must have an excellent understanding of Quality Control/Assurance and be familiar with regulatory requirements. **Skills** Must have experience applying PMBOK and other best practices project management philosophies to projects as needed. Must be able to understand and create a profit and loss statement for the project. Must be cost-conscious, results-oriented, and possess basic business skills. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must have experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint and Excel. Must be capable of operating motor vehicles in all types of weather conditions. Must be able to effectively work with individuals at all position levels in the organization to identify, understand and communicate their business requirements. Must be able to facilitate department project meetings and communicate effectively with internal customers throughout the organization. Must have excellent project management skills. Must have the ability to be a self-motivated and self-managed individual. Must possess strong organizational, customer service, and troubleshooting skills. **Abilities** Must be a self-starter and self-directed worker. Must be able to keep information confidential. Must be neat in appearance and well groomed. Must be professional, organized, detail oriented, communicative, and have the ability to greet the public in a friendly and courteous manner. Must have the ability to demonstrate, leadership, problem-solving skills and team-building. **Working Environment** Works in a well-lighted, air conditioned and heated office. May be exposed to electrical and chemical hazards and other conditions common to an office environment. May require extended hours during PMO development, critical project phases, and/or cutovers May be required to work at any time of the day, evening or night during the week or weekend. Ability to use personal motor vehicle for company business required. Occupational Exposure Assignment - Category II Physical Requirements Must be able to drive on behalf of the organization. Will sit, stand, walk, and bend during working hours. Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Required to lift and carry relatively light materials. Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing corrected to a normal range.
