Project Manager Intern | Summer 2025

The Project Manager Intern will have the opportunity to network and support the Customer Success team during the 2025 Summer Program. This will include, but is not limited to, providing general project support, managing daily/weekly reports and dashboards, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.  

Dates:  The internship program dates are June 2nd- August 8th 2025
Pay: $20 an hour + 401K plan (with company match)
Location: Onsite 1-2 days a week in our Tampa office

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Develop an understanding of the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals and all other aspects of service  Actively engages in assigned projects by providing documented feedback and conducting regular check-ins to ensure successful outcomes. Adopt and follow the onboarding training curriculum provided by the internship program and the Customer Success department. Develop a working knowledge of the assigned department (Provider Business Unit – Customer Success team) Attends department, organization, and company meetings as assigned  Work collaboratively and develop skills needed to carry out day-to-day work and/or participate in departmental projects  Support current business processes and may assist with implementation of new business processes  Develop ad-hoc analysis and reports as needed for specific department strategies  Completes miscellaneous assignments as assigned  Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement  Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position  Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer 

Job Requirements: 

Must possess good oral and written communication skills  Must be goal-oriented and focused  Demonstrates willingness to be coached by actively engaging in feedback and learning activities with mentors, peers, and leaders throughout the internship. Demonstrates a growth mindset, seeks feedback often and is effective in continuous personal and professional development  Shows punctuality, professionalism, and a positive attitude when completing assignments  Should possess good judgment and decision-making skills  A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, other systems preferred such as Salesforce, ADP  Experience with project management tools/systems a plus 

Education: 

Course work towards bachelor’s or master’s degree related to Business Administration, Finance, or similar. 

Physical Demands and Work Environment: 

Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time)  Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force  Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions  Subject to inside environmental conditions  Travel for this position will include less than 5% locally, usually for training purposes

In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range$17.59—$20 USD
