Project Manager IT Infrastructure
Job Purpose and Summary

As a Project Manager IT Infrastructure, you are responsible for the delivery of the IT infrastructure projects and changes to support the IT strategy and realize Business benefits. You will manage the activities of the project team, including internal central and local teams and supporting partners, to deliver project objectives within agreed timelines, budget, scope, and quality targets.

As a Project Manager IT Infrastructure, you will:

Responsible for managing the work of all team members, including consultants, allocating and utilizing resources in an efficient way and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful team.Manage and lead the project team effectively to deliver the project, ensuring the project is fully resourced, adheres to quality gate and other governance processes, focused on the desired outcomes, and solutions are transitioned into business as usual operations.Plan and coordinate the delivery of the proposed solutions with the Infrastructure Enterprise and Domain Architects and the Infrastructure Solution Consultants, to ensure we provide secure and resilient IT solutions that meet business requirements and are in alignment with the Enterprise Architecture direction and standards and conform to Architecture Building Blocks.Responsible for discussing IT Infrastructure initiatives with IT teams within EMEA, with Business Teams, and with Suppliers and Partners, to ensure understanding and agreement from an IT and Business technical perspective considering any country or business unit specific objectives, constraints, and policies.Ensure detailed project plans are created within MS Project and ensure these are kept up to date with activities, timelines and resources for projects. Ensure the project status updates and reports are kept up to date in the agreed systems and dashboards, and all project documentation is stored correctly in Microsoft TeamsConstruct, interpret and monitor test plans to verify correct operations of completed infrastructure solutions against their design objectives.Undertake risk and issue management and manage escalations to relevant parties for resolution.Provide status reporting and plan deviations for the project steering board, senior management, and IT Quality Gates. Ensure that all governance processes are followed.

What we ask

As a Project Manager IT Infrastructure, you will need:

University degreeProject management experience with Infrastructure technologies utilizing cross functional teamsIdeally experience with IT Infrastructure design and deployment projects, and understand migration, functional & technical design and development, configuration, testing & release activitiesExcellent knowledge of Project Management methodologies and processes such as Prince2Solid knowledge of Life Cycle and Service Level Management, IT methodologies such as ITILBroad technical experience with and understanding of information technology at a level needed to interface between the different internal and external technical stakeholders.Awareness of importance of information security to infrastructure design and implementation.Demonstrated experience working in a European IT organization with virtual and co-located project teams.Experience with teams coming from different countries and cultural backgrounds.Preferably has hands-on IT Infrastructure implementation experience with one of: On-premise or Cloud hosting; Office365 migrations; Networking; Security or EUC solutions.Fluent English, both written and spoken. Other European languages are also welcome.Expertise in scoping, planning, coordinating, and communicating the activities and deliverables of multiple technology and business process work streams.Good business knowledge & understanding of processes.Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends solutions/best practices;
