The Project Manager in the Lean Team will play a key role in driving Lean Transformation within Global Business Services by implementing best practices in continuous improvement. This position will focus on developing Lean and Six Sigma competencies, leading and managing individual projects, and fostering a problem-solving culture across the organization. The Project Manager will ensure the successful execution of Lean initiatives, contribute to the ongoing growth of operational efficiency, and support the broader strategic goals of Lean Transformation.


Responsibilities

Conduct market research to identify and implement best practices in Lean transformation while supporting the development of the Global Business Services Lean Transformation Roadmap Assist in the implementation of the Global Business Services Lean Transformation Roadmap by providing education, coaching, and consulting to teams across the organization. Drive the development of Lean and Six Sigma competencies within Global Business Services Plan and prepare Must Win Battles (MWBs) (Managed Workstreams) projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Lead and oversee the implementation of Must Win Battles (MWBs) projects, ensuring timely delivery and full execution, taking on roles as project lead, project champion, or project coach as needed. Develop project management skills (PRINCE2, Lean Six Sigma, Agile/Scrum) by serving as a trainer, coach, and consultant for project teams. Design and deliver training programs on key project management competencies to enhance team performance. Develop and refine tools and techniques to support project management effectiveness and ensure alignment with Lean Transformation goals.
 
 

Requirements

At least a Master’s degree in Management, Finance, Project Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Operations. Certification in Lean Six Sigma (White or Yellow Belt) and a PRINCE2 Foundation certification is an added advantage. Previous experience in Project Management is preferred. Strong ability to take ownership of projects and lead teams to successful outcomes, with a proactive approach to driving Lean Transformation and continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence at all levels. A robust mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
