Job DescriptionAs a Project Manager, you own the delivery of multidisciplinary design projects. You will be expected to work within a team to successfully manage and deliver planning projects.
You will have a background in building planning and design project management and experience in the delivery of a range of multi-disciplinary projects from the public and private sectors in Germany. You will be familiar with working in large, cross-regional multidisciplinary teams on projects at all stages of the project lifecycle including development from feasibility to detailed design and construction.
Responsibilities:
Project management, including stakeholder, schedule, and contract managementOwnership of and responsibility for the successful delivery of your projectPreparing and maintaining schedules, including dependencies and resourcesIdentifying and monitoring project risks and opportunitiesQuality management processes for project activities and outputsManaging stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interestsEstablishing and maintaining project governance reviewsStrong relationships are developed with clients and members of the cross-functional teamBusiness development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross-selling opportunities, are identified and acted uponManage the delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standardsMentorship of junior project managersQualificationsAcademic or vocational qualification in a relevant technical or project management discipline. Engineering or Architectural background preferredExperience in managing large architecture and planning projects in Germany. Minimum 5 yearsProficiency with regard to German market requirements and regulations such as HOAI, VOBExperience in managing large delivery teams from different geographiesFull contractual proficiency in German and English languages3 days per week office attendance in EssenOccasional travel to project sites and clients' officesAdditional InformationWe offer you an exciting role in an international company with a flat hierarchy and a pleasant working atmosphere.
