Amaris Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager in the field of Mechanical Engineering to join our dynamic team in Belgium. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and overseeing the entire lifecycle of mechanical projects, from conception to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in project management and a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of mechanical projects, from initial concept to final delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams, providing technical input and expertise in areas such as structural analysis, material selection, and mechanical design. Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication, with a focus on optimizing engineering processes and workflows. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and timely resolution of technical issues, leveraging expertise in AutoCAD, MATLAB, or CATIA to drive engineering excellence. Provide technical expertise and guidance on mechanical engineering aspects, including the use of tools such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or CATIA, and contribute to the development of innovative engineering solutions. Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development, with a focus on enhancing technical competencies and project management skills

Requirements:

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Fluency in (English and French) OR (English and Dutch). Proven track record in project management within the mechanical engineering domain, with a strong technical background in areas such as structural analysis, and mechanical design. Proficiency in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or CATIA, with a demonstrated ability to apply these tools to solve complex engineering challenges. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining a focus on technical excellence and project delivery.
