Foth is currently seeking a team-focused and results-oriented professional engineer with the desire to cultivate and advance municipal relationships from our Columbia, SC location. Primary Responsibilities:Lead technical engineering, quality assurance/control, and project management activities for municipal and county design and construction projectsSupport growth and development of the municipal market by creating statements of qualifications, proposals, and presentations; conducting contract negotiations; and participating in professional organizations, advertising, and tradeshowsServe as the client contact for multiple municipal and county clients Deliver projects within budget, schedule, and contractual commitments Negotiate change orders to the scope of work with the client and subcontractors Work closely with relevant permitting agencies Develop technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering designs Provide construction administration as needed Lead, coordinate, and build client teams Establish objectives and provide performance feedback for team members Participate in recruiting activities by attending professional networking events and college career fairsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) License in South Carolina Minimum five years of experience managing projects and client relationships Minimum five years of experience working in the civil engineering consulting industry Preferred Qualifications:10+ years of experience planning, designing, and constructing public utility projects
