directing attendance on site at hospitals and medical centre operating theatres and facilities
supervision of installers, third party contractors and sub-contractors
attending site planning meetings with foreman, builder, engineers, etc
works closely and in concert with OT Light and Pendant suppliers
identify, communicate and manage risks and issues
coordinate delivery and receipt of equipment
verify job progress for work completion
assist with the management and implementation of approved installation change orders
bring installation contract to acceptable and successful conclusion. Obtain customer sign-off
identify potential installation problems and notifies appropriate parties
advise contractors on installation when the Company is utilised
responsible for safeguarding and protecting capital equipment
file timely transport requests when it is the Company’s responsibility to do so
recommend changes that will result in improved installation or operation of the Company’s equipment. These recommendations will be made to the OR1 Project Manager
maintain a detailed file on all jobs. At the conclusion of the job, closes the file and liaises with the Business Development Manager for review
maintain and monitors Company property (inventory, tools, software, etc.) and reports discrepancies to OR1 Business Development Manager
support OR1 Business Development Manager with planning tasks as necessary
provide OR1 expertise support to the service engineers, ensuring work adheres to the Service department’s processes
support OR1 Business Development Manager with Sales tasks
compliance with current legislation, other regulatory agencies, and institutional and operating systems
knowledge and adherence to guidelines and procedures as they are described in the QA Manual and WHS management system
office/field-based work with remote work as approved by Manager
National role inclusive of travel to customer sites for inspections, commissioning and handover of projects.
Your Talentsminimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry
formal qualifications in project management
audio-visual design experience (highly desirable)
hospital ICT integration implementation experiance (highly desirable)
holds a construction white card
holds a current driver’s licence
completion of trade qualification (i.e., electrician/)
demonstrate customer focused attitude and approach
apply technical experience and expertise to ensure success of complex AV integration and technology projects
previously led and coordinated the execution of project work, having previously managed complete rooms/projects solo from start to finish
thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment with multiple, simultaneous, and fluid priorities
has the flexibility to travel to installation locations nationally
