A client in Richmond, TX is looking for a Project Manager P.E. with a background in engineering and land development projects. This individual will be responsible for preparation and coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects. The Project Manager plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates assigned engineering work, monitors work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and standards, and ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project consultants. The day-to-day responsibilities are listed below:
Act as the primary contact for daily interactions with the clients representative and jurisdictional agency personnel, and lead the internal project team.
Oversee a project team comprising engineers, CAD designers, technicians, sub-consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project completion.
Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate the financial and technical aspects of assigned projects.
Manage overall project schedules and budget constraints from inception to completion.
Perform quality control reviews of design elements, contractual obligations, and deliverables before external release.
Identify, interpret, and resolve technical project issues with minimal supervision.
Stay updated on the latest regulations and criteria from local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.
Handle multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
Conduct all business professionally and ethically to serve customers and enhance the companys goodwill and profitability.
Assist in coordinating Construction Phase Services, including site visits, bid documents, submittal reviews, and pay applications.
Ability to travel overnight. will travel 1x a week for a project
