Job Description

As a Payments Project Manager, you are responsible for the accelerated execution of Payments product conversions and launches. You will be responsible for managing complex electronic payments conversion projects and for delivering error-free payments configurations to our customers. You'll work closely with our Boarding and Applications Team, our software implementation teams, and our Credit and Risk Team to ensure launch commitments are not only met, but also exceeded.   

In your day-to-day, you will: 

Manage complex credit card and ACH implementation projects for software customers Provide clear and concise project communication - both written and verbal. Ensure project methodologies and project delivery processes are strictly followed, including:  Proper system setup and configurationCard brand regulations are followedProcessor requirements are followedCustom development requirements are satisfiedSystem integration is aligned to meet customers’ business objectives.Identify potential processing risks and proactively communicate internally and externally Manage escalated issues to provide exceptional merchant experiences Overperform through routine analysis of KPIs and ongoing process improvement Build and promote a positive and collaborative culture across Payments teams Contribute to team documentation, SOPs, and creation of best practice documentation Maintain a thorough understanding of processor/vendor products, platforms, and systems Serve as a Daxko Payments products and services expert  Follow all organizational compliance policies and standard operating procedures Consistently exceed team weekly, monthly, and quarterly key performance indicators. 

QualificationsBachelor’s DegreeTwo (2) years of Customer Service experienceOne (1) year of experience working with credit card/ACH processing and/or fintech companiesDemonstrated expertise in project managementDemonstrated ability to effectively manage complex financial projectsExceptional customer service skills including patience and empathy, with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage customer escalationsConsistent exceptional performance versus key performance indicatorsDemonstrated expertise in Daxko’s payments-related products and servicesA proven ability to build strong collaborative working relationships with business partnersExcellent communicator able to convey complex ideas succinctlyCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong computer and multi-tasking skillsAbility to work as a valued teammate, manage time effectively, prioritize and take initiativeAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong attention to detail

Bonus points for:

Project Management Professional (PMP) CertificationFamiliarity with Fiserv Merchant Services and other processing environments

Additional Information

The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $85,000 per year. Where you fall within the pay range is based on experience, how you demonstrate the attributes and competencies required for the role. We mostly reserve the upper half of our compensation bands for internal growth. In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, performance-based incentives, and opportunities for growth.
