Project Manager- People/HR Systems

One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Project Manager – People/HR System to work on an 8- month assignment in their facilities in Houston, TX or remote.
Summary: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible to lead the implementation of a key HR project (e.g., implement a new Pay Equity solution, significantly expand Onboarding with an existing People solution, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a project delivery team with clear purpose and goals. Foster and maintain stakeholder relationships, communicating regularly about plans, risks, blockers, turning points, and opportunities. Manage and deliver People/HR technology projects within a complex global organization. Ensure project delivery aligns with quality, cost, and timing goals. Monitor project budget, resources, and schedule effectively. Establish and govern the project plan, including risks and opportunities. Provide project status updates in accordance with the governance framework.
Requirement:
Proven experience managing complex HCM/HRIS projects with integrations, data uplift, and regulatory considerations. Strong background in successfully delivering projects within global or multi-national organizations. Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Well-developed leadership and team management skills, with experience in guiding multi-disciplinary teams to achieve high-quality outcomes. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and build productive working relationships, including remote collaboration with technical and functional teams. Strong budget management, project controls, and commercial acumen in relation to project delivery and benefit realization. Knowledge of ERP, ServiceNow, Oracle HCM Cloud, Taleo, and Candidate Relationship Management solutions is highly regarded. Relevant qualifications/certifications in Project Management or Change Management from recognized professional bodies are valued.
