Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Project Manager (Plant Expansion) in Orchard Park, NY.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

**What you’ll do:**
**PRIMARY FUNCTION:**
Plan, direct, and execute capital projects related to footprint rationalizations, capacity expansions, manufacturing methods/processes, and facilities using comprehensive knowledge of existing capabilities and new technology. Implements new manufacturing processes with an emphasis on integrating the most efficient methods. Responsible for achieving defined project metrics such as schedule, budget, and benefits. Ensure close collaboration with the local operations teams in order to assure project success. Examines the needs of the project/program/business to develop projects and build the business case.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
• Provides project leadership for both large and small scale projects
• Manage and maintain program /project metrics for throughout the duration of projects
• Needs to effectively lead meetings and documentation for project teams and conduct project update meetings to agreed upon schedules
• Leverages global resources and prior project contacts to develop the best solutions and assemble best project business cases
• Coordinate key sub-projects and keep them on track
• Lead meetings with architects, construction managers, and CBRE project manager
• Plan and execute strong communications plan to all stakeholders, including project status reports
• Lead decision making for all key design, logistics, and execution details
• Create mitigation plans to minimize impact to operations, such as temporary parking plans and shipping logistics
• Manage 10 Centre closure activities
• Meet PROLaunch deliverables for project
• Able to assemble and lead a cross functional team with engagement from all required organizations
• Manage supplier and contractor contracts, pricing, terms and conditions, warranty, etc.
• Able to develop equipment technical specifications and perform supplier/contractor evaluations as part of the selection process
• Manage contractor/supplier work while on site at Eaton facilities and assure adherence to Eaton’s Contractor
**Qualifications:**
**Required (Basic) Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
• 5+ years of experience in Program Management, or a combination of Program Management with some Operations, OpEx, Manufacturing Engineering or Facilities experience
• 5+ years of work in a manufacturing environment
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
• No relocation is being offered for this position. Only candidates that reside within a 50 mile radius of Orchard Park, NY will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
• Engineering Degree preferred
• Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification
• Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) or equivalent
• Familiar with PROLaunch methodology
• Familiar with Eaton CAR process and definition of project business cases
• Experience in Risk Management and Business Continuity
**Skills:**
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customers
• Convincing and Influencing skills
• Experience managing complex program such as construction, production line moves, infrastructure build out.
• Self-motivating and acts in an ethical and truthful manner
• Broad analytical skills and business acumen
• Fully demonstrating in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools
• Excellent team leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team
