The Project Manager Population Health Data and Informatics will lead efforts to advance clinical quality improvement, program evaluation, and research initiatives that support value-based care strategies within CHI Health Partners (CHP) in collaboration with Creighton University's Institute of Population Health and College of Nursing. This role focuses on data management, integration, and analytics, serving as a key resource to develop data infrastructure and insights that enhance clinical quality, patient outcomes, and return on investment (ROI) under value-based care. Additionally, this position will establish a research foundation, enabling Creighton health professional students and faculty to participate in impactful research and quality improvement initiatives that align with CHP priorities.

Project Manager-Pop Health Data & Informatrics
Location: Omaha, NE

Data Analytics & Integration:Conduct data analysis and reporting activities to support CHP’s value-based care programs, including data extraction, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and validation for various databases and systems.Design, develop, and maintain data models and analytical processes that facilitate insights into clinical outcomes, operational efficiencies, and financial performance.Ensure data accuracy, quality, and security, working collaboratively with IT and informatics teams on data-related initiatives.Engage in evaluation of informatics tools and optimization strategies, ensuring that technology aligns with CHP’s goals for clinical quality and efficiency.Project Management & Stakeholder Collaboration:Lead cross-functional project teams and oversee timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables for quality improvement and data integration initiatives.Establish collaborative relationships with clinical, administrative, and university leadership to align projects with CHP’s strategic goals and facilitate evidence-based decision-making.Document project progress, milestones, and outcomes; develop best practices and standardized protocols for future quality improvement efforts.Research & Evaluation:Develop and oversee a research infrastructure within the Creighton and CHP partnership, identifying opportunities for clinical and operational studies aligned with value-based care outcomes.Mentor Creighton students and faculty in the use of population health data for research and evaluation, in assessment of feasibility of research and QI proposals, and encourage their engagement in projects that advance interprofessional education and practice.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field.At least five years in a healthcare data analytics or informatics role with experience in EMR systems, healthcare data integration, or clinical project management.Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business or Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Formal education in programming languages (SQL, etc) desired.Formal training or hands on experience in EPIC Clarity desired.
