Job Description
The position of Project Manager will include but not be limited to planning, coordination, execution, and overseeing of projects. The Project Manager will ensure the project is completed in a safe, quality, timely, and cost-effective manner. They will coordinate with individuals, subcontractors, vendors, our construction team, and more; following processes and standards to ensure the company achieves safe and successful projects.
The Project Manager will provide overall support in capacities such as documentation; RFI’s and design clarifications; vendor submittals between the project team and clients; preparation of weekly and monthly reports; project forecasting, cost and productivity reports, and more.
Duties & Responsibilities
Support the project by ensuring construction documentation and execution meets the contract technical, safety, and quality requirements from the client in addition to company and industry specifications and standards Develop and submit project submittals based on specifications and drawings, acquire submittals from subcontractors and vendors, review all submittals for conformance, transmit submittals to clients/owners/engineers; initiate RFI’s as required based on technical reviews Interface and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors. Reviews and confirms quotations from vendors and subcontractors to complete procurement buy-out process to support mobilizations Provide technical support for construction effort including construction planning; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts, etc. Document and develop data for change order work Develop cost estimates and execution plans for change order work Travel as required; may include, but not limited to meetings, pre-bid walks, site visits, regular site construction support, training, etc. Identify and provide timely notice of changed conditions, prepare/track Change Order Proposals, and generate subcontract change orders Prepare partial estimates to be submitted to owner for payment on a monthly basisRequired Qualifications
BS degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management program. Heavy Civil roadway and bridge experience required Minimum of 5 years’ experience in all aspects of project management. Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications Good communication skills, both written as well as able to effectively verbally communicate with team members, suppliers, and any related project stakeholders Demonstrated skills in written communications; ability to compose basic as well as complex technical documents and formal letters Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills; ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks concurrently Driven and self-motivated problem solver Regional travel may be required Open to learn new processes and proceduresCompany Overview
