You and your job

Financial Economic Crime (FEC) Wholesale & Rural (W&R) Operations is responsible for the operational management of FEC within the Global Regions where Rabobank is active, including Europe, North America, South America, Australia & New Zealand and Asia. With approx. 750 FTE across the five regions, ensuring risk and operations signals are picked up and acted on in a timely manner is a critical component to the success of our teams. This requires central oversight and coordination in order to maintain an effective and efficient FEC workforce.

As a Project Manager Risk & Interventions you will play a critical role in taking the lead in coordinating, monitoring and steering on operational risk events when they occur within the FEC W&R domain. This calls for strong stakeholder management, operational oversight, a structural approach, great relationship management and a getting-things-done mentality.

Practical Examples

You work closely together with stakeholders in the various Global FEC departments to ensure that design issues impacting operational effectiveness are addressed.You work with local stakeholders to identify root causes of operational issues and develop effective response plans.You constantly seek opportunities to improve our operational effectiveness in a complex international stakeholder environment.

Key responsibilities

Risk Identification and Assessment: identify FEC W&R operational risks emanating from management information and engage stakeholders to assess and evaluate their impact.Organization and coordination: Organize the required multi-disciplinary team/squad and coordinate the response.Develop the Response Plan & necessary interventions together with solution owners: conduct root cause analysis and work with the solution owners to create and implement strategies to address identified risks, ensuring they are well-documented and actionable.Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor risks and the effectiveness of response plans, providing regular updates to stakeholders.Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders regarding risk status and response actions.Execution of Response Strategies: Ensure timely execution of planned response strategies as risks occur together with the solution owners, assigning responsibilities within the wider CFECO domain and tracking progress

You and your talent

Academic education/ level of thinking and working with at least 5 years’ experience within project & change management, preferably within FEC related projects;International experience within Wholesale & Rural, preferably in the FEC domain;Strong and informal leadership style focused on relationship management, motivation, facilitation, and reliability;Experience in working in a complex, global stakeholder field and ability to function amidst of organizational sensitivities;Excellent communication and presentation skills with the flexibility to adapt to all levels within the organization;Experience with Lean and Agile way or working;Proficiency in English (oral and written). Good knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
