We are seeking a motivated Onsite Project Manager with strong technical skills to join our team for a new data collection project in San Diego, California! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence technology.

What You Will Be Doing:

The Project Manager is a results-driven and innovative project leader within DataForce. Specifically, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing operations from the San Diego site itself, and will manage the onsite moderators and the overall data collection project.

The Project Manager has accountability for fostering a professional client relationship, managing and coordinating the onsite team members, and leading and collaborating with cross-functional project teams and partners..

Role Responsibilities

Overseeing all aspects of the management of the onsite data collection project from hand-off through project completion, to ensure project success against defined KPIs

Developing and maintaining project plans, workflows, guidelines and resource materials

Providing effective analysis and reporting of project performance

Tracking, monitoring and controlling project financials, timeline and quality performance

Providing effective risk management through identification, escalation, mitigation, and effective resolution of issues

Executing the project autonomously, while successfully coordinating with cross-functional project teams as required to procure required resources and support

Serving as a primary point of contact with both internal and external stakeholders

Leading and contributing to continuous performance improvements for the data collection project

Who We Are Looking For:

Role Requirements – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong technical background

Professional English language proficiency

Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Established expertise in project management methodologies

Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills

Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Established competency in the use of business applications and collaboration tools including but not limited to Microsoft suite of applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) and Google Workspace suite of products

Role Requirements – Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology; or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted

3+ years' relevant project management experience, or experience in other roles with similar responsibilities

Experience in end-to-end management of projects

Ability to apply technology in solving business technical problems

Experience in applying PMI/PMP management principles, methods, and standards

Preferred Role Requirements

Background in AI industryExperience with data collection, proctoring or research studiesExperience with PythonKnowledge of research methodologies and ethical considerationsFluency in a language other than EnglishPMP or equivalent certification
