Opportunity Snapshot:

 

Compensation: $75-80/hourLocation: Texas City, TXWork Schedule: 9/80 - 40 hours+Assignment Duration: 12 months +Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401K, PTO and Holidays  Responsibilities Define the scope of the project in collaboration with management and technical leadsDetermine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the projectDevelop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.  Review the project schedule and budget with management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule and budget as requiredExecute the project according to the project planSet up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and securedMonitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the projectEstablish communication to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the projectReview the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standardsWrite reports on the project for clients and managementMonitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures.  Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to client and management on a regular basis (monthly/bimonthly)Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and proceduresEnsure that all financial records for the project are up to date.  Ensure that the project deliverable are on time, within budget and at the required level of qualityEvaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phasePerform as a technical resource as needed based on career experience Qualifications

10+ years’ experience in the Oil & Gas Downstream industry as either a project engineer or project manager

Experience working  cradle to grave small cap projects in a refinery/petrochemical plant environment

Experience managing capital project Engineering and Design phase

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or technical field from four-year college or University.
