Project Manager/Sr. Consultant
Description Robert Half’s enterprise client is seeking a highly capable Program Manager for a 100% remote 3-month contract with a high likelihood of extending and potential to convert to full-time. This role will support a high-visibility, high-complexity initiative involving a significant systems migration and modernization effort. This role will report to and work closely with the lead program manager, helping to drive day-to-day execution across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. This role is critical to ensuring program momentum, reducing execution risk, and enhancing team responsiveness during a time of significant organizational change. Key Responsibilities: + Rapidly ramp up on a technically complex program, including understanding legacy systems, migration plans, and integration requirements; must be able to grasp technical concepts well enough to capture discussions accurately and contribute an informed perspective. + Conduct data analysis comparing current systems with proposed new solutions, helping to inform migration planning, risk identification, and stakeholder decision-making. + Actively support hands-on program management for the end-to-end systems migration, coordinating activities such as data validation, testing milestones, cutover readiness, and post-migration support. + Coordinate and track deliverables, action items, and deadlines across multiple functions and time zones to keep the program on track. + Drive change management activities alongside the lead PM, including supporting communications, building a network of change champions, and tracking user adoption risks. + Quickly prepare senior-level updates, meeting notes, and clear documentation of decisions, open questions, and risks. + Act as an additional point of contact to keep workstreams moving, remove blockers, and maintain alignment across stakeholders. Why this works: - Embeds data analysis and systems migration directly into the “ramp up” and “hands-on program management” points. - Makes change management a clear, active part of the role — not just implied. - Emphasizes that the contractor is not just coordinating but contributing insight on planning, risk, and adoption. Requirements + 3+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional programs. + 2+ years supporting Agile teams and practices. + Strong foundation in project management best practices (risk management, WBS, stakeholder engagement, etc.). + Proven ability to operate independently, manage ambiguity, and drive results. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Change management experience + Experience with Systems Migrations and Data Analysis + Familiarity with GitHub, Miro, and ticketing systems is a strong plus.
