Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant located in Alexandria, Virginia, United States. As a key player in our team, you will be overseeing the delivery of Enterprise Data Management program deliverables from initiation to closure. Ensuring alignment with our organizational goals, you will develop and drive the execution of data management and consumption strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the timely and standard-compliant completion of Enterprise Data Management program deliverables
• Develop and implement realistic project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and track all tasks and artifacts
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data solutions that cater to business needs
• Manage expectations, address concerns, and build consensus among diverse stakeholders
• Hold accountability for contractual deliverables that align with business expectations and high-level objectives
• Facilitate project meetings with actionable agendas and ensure that outputs are documented and distributed
• Employ strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex data challenges and project roadblocks
• Utilize tools such as Project Management Software, Azure DevOps Board, and Office Suite for task management, resource assignments, and reporting
• Demonstrate technical writing skills for reporting, communicating technical risks and needs
• Maintain a broad understanding of Data Management fundamentals including Data Governance, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and their interrelationships
• Manage sub-contractors and vendors to deliver expected solutions. Requirements • The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a Project Management or Senior Consultant role
• Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira is a key requirement for this role
• Familiarity with Cisco Technologies is needed
• The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Cloud Technologies
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is required
• The candidate must be familiar with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Knowledge of About Time software is desirable
• The candidate should have experience in AB Testing
• Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodology is necessary
• The candidate should be well-versed in Budget Processes
