MSOC has an opportunity for a Project Manager to manage project budget and performance for development projects across the Mission Systems, MCCS, MTC, and SVMF.

Primary responsibilities:

•            Primary customer interface for the project.

•            Monitor and manage project milestones, progress, issues, and risks.

•            Work with Project Engineers to integrate project content and schedule between facilities.

•            Perform strategic analyses as requested by the customer or PMO.

•            Monitor project adherence to labor and material budgets; assist with labor forecasting.

•            Prepare project task order BOE and BOE modifications.

Work Experience and Requirements:

Applicant should have experience with leading complex projects and interacting with customers to meet program requirements.

Qualifications:

Typically holds a BS in a Computer Science or Engineering degree and normally possesses 5+ years of professional experience and training commensurate with assignment.

Required Skills:

•            Demonstrated leadership experience on technical projects.

•            Demonstrated project monitoring and control experience.

•            Strong initiative and problem-solving skills.

•            Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

•            Effective at handling multiple tasks, flexible, and responding quickly to changes.

•            Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and professionally represent the project.
