Project Manager Sustainability

​​We are seeking a Project Manager for Sustainability to lead and support sustainability and compliance initiatives within our procurement and supply chain functions. This role is instrumental in ensuring adherence to global regulations (such as the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act – LkSG and EU REACH) and fostering responsible practices throughout the supply chain. ​ 

 

Your Impact 

Ensure alignment with LkSG, EUDR, CSDDD, and other relevant national and international legislation. Define and implement compliance measures in cooperation with the Compliance Department (Human Rights Officer). Manage SVHC and WFD modules with external partners (e.g., Assent).  

Create interfaces between AGCO systems and ERPs to ensure accurate data flow for compliance reporting. Oversee communication of SCIP information to ECHA via third-party submission. Lead and support strategic sustainability initiatives within procurement and supply chain. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and environmental responsibility.  

Ensure all procurement activities meet internal policies and ethical sourcing standards. Act as the go-to expert for sustainability within procurement and supply chain. Support the rollout of global/local sustainability programs and act as liaison with internal stakeholders.  

Develop and improve tools, systems, and workflows to enhance efficiency and sustainability tracking. Represent both brand and corporate sustainability interests and help align them across the organization.  

Ensure job-specific adherence to occupational health and safety, quality, fire protection, and environmental requirements.  

 

Your Experience and Qualifications 

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related fields.  

Certifications in sustainability or compliance are a plus.  

Minimum 7-8 years of sustainability/compliance within procurement or supply chain, preferably in a global context.  

Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP), compliance platforms, and MS Office  

Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an asset, Strong analytical and communication skills, and Ability to work cross-functionally with multicultural teams.
