Aptiv’s Tech Center in Gothenburg is home to almost 300 employees representing more than 15 nationalities. Our office is always bustling with activity and optimism, partly owing to the fact that we are conveniently located next to the city's biggest holiday attraction, the historic Liseberg amusement park.

We are looking for a talented and experienced Project Manager to join at our site in Gothenburg.

Your Role:

1. Business / Project execution:

responsible for the most complex and critical projects (in terms of size, timing, innovation, complexity)

launches the project successfully through functionally integrated teams (focus on Cost, Quality, Time, Delivery and Methodology). It includes: updating and completing Project Plan; implementing and maintaining Project Reviews, Risk Management Plan; completing and submitting product information; communicating Customers' requirements for key deliverables and performance targets to Project Teams; improve and Champion Project Teams’ adherence to PDP to achieve compliance.

2. Product quality:

leads the Project Team to meet: First Time Quality [FTQ] goals and Worldwide Formal Customer Complaints (WFCC) goals

3. Cost and budget:

meets the investment spending and financial metrix

prepares capital spending and forecast

CAPEX planning and tracking of spend and contribution – submit and follow the approvals

4. Customer / supplier relationships:

interface to customers for Project Management activities

customer management and communication alignment between different stakeholders

5. New business:

cooperates with Start Center leaders on quote activities

6. Continuous Improvement:

supports enterprise effectiveness/efficiency through the use of Lean / I&CIM techniques

7. People Management:

leads by influence

makes sure he/she cooperates with the Groups Managers to ensure proper resources

Effective communication along with ability to prioritize and strategize

8. Compliance:

ensures compliance with PDP requirements

maintains required documentation and reporting

participates in audits

Your Background:

3+ years of experience from Lead Roles (technical or commercial project lead roles)

Customer front-end & project experience (2-3 projects)

Proven ability to successfully collaborate across competencies, sites, customer and internal teams

Specifically background in leading Software development work is meriting

English knowledge

Strong negotiations skills

Strong finance knowledge
