This Opportunity
VGS is seeking a Project Manager. The Project Manager (PM) is the person responsible to the customer for all aspects of Contractor performance and has the overall responsibility for implementation of the Quality Control Plan (QCP). The PM is given the authority to establish the necessary organization and allocate resources to implement the QCP in a way that is proactive and in partnership with our United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) customer, and to ensure the appropriate level of control is maintained. The PM reports to the Program Director and has a “dotted-line” responsibility to the Corporate Director Sponsor/Executive. This ensures that priorities are clear and programmatic day-to-day needs are kept in clear focus. USACE also has a direct line of communication with the Program Director whenever needed to ensure this focus is never lost or obscured by conflicting priorities.

Provide oversight of the project’s quality assurance and quality control activities to meet the objective of providing the client with the specified product or serviceEnsure the resources required to implement the Plan are available where and when they are neededAssist with the preparation of the Project QA/QC Plan, and ensure it complies with the contractual requirementsEnsure that the project is effectively implementing the project QA/QC Plan through periodic independent management reviews and assessmentsServes as single POC for the KO; provides overall management and addresses contracting issuesCoordinates inspection activities with CEHNC, confirms priorities with KO/COR, schedules and directs/coordinates resources to meet demand across the CENTCOM AORDirects /tracks staffing and equipment resourcesReviews /approves plans, deliverables; manages budget and scheduleProject Manager (PM) Requirements / Abilities:
This individual shall have at least three (3) years of experience in U.S. Government (USG) contract project management on programs similar in size and complexityProject Manager must have a Secret Security Clearance prior to deployment and be able to maintain a Secret Security Clearance throughout the Period of PerformanceThe Project Manager will be primarily assigned in Kuwait but will be forward-deployable to mission requirement in CENTCOM AOR as determined by the COR based on the needs of the customer and programAbout Versar Global Solutions
