Project - Non-Technical Project/Program Management – Advanced
Our Client, a Materials Engineering Company, is looking for Project - Non-Technical Project/Program Management – Advanced for their Santa Clara, CA location Responsibilities: + Develop and manage recovery plans for parts escalations assigned. + Collaborate with all functions needed to successfully execute the plans. + Manage the execution of the plan and ensure that the escalation can be resolved quickly and efficiently. For chronic part shortages, collaborate the various functions needed to achieve a long-term resolution to mitigate the constraint(s). + Maintain status of the plan’s execution in the Escalation System and summarize any areas where help is needed. + Review system parameters for the part(s) involved in each escalation to ensure they are set so SAP and other service parts management systems can successfully drive demand going forward. + Communicate regularly with all stakeholders on the plans progress and expected resolution dates. + Ensure that suppliers are properly maintaining and updating delivery dates in SAP. + Address any purchasing excursions on the PO’s related to the part escalation. + Collaborate with required functions to manage the execution of plans for specific projects that may be assigned. These are generally longer-term efforts that require materials experience to successfully manage and complete. + Document the entry/exit points for the escalation in the appropriate systems, along with progress during plan execution.
