As Project Office Manager your primary focus is to lead the Parts & Services Project Management Office, ensure the engineering resource planning for projects. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating projects across the Product Line that require input from multiple portfolios and engineering. 

You will support projects within the six Product Line product & service portfolios, both new initiatives as well as product improvements, and run selected key projects across the Product Line, involving multiple portfolios or other P&S functions. 

When it comes to the mechanical, hydraulic and electrical engineering tasks in these projects you will forecast the resource needs and follow-up the actual performance with the P&S Engineering Manager.   

You work according to project management standards and partner with stakeholders to advance and prioritize Parts & Services product and solution development and improvement initiatives and projects within scope and budget, and you ensure all new developments meet the required quality whilst considering customer requirements, operational needs, reliability and function. On safety and risk, while the Engineering Manager takes the lead, a close collaboration is required. 

In this role you will be based in Amsterdam and report to the Vice President, Digital & Product Line within the Parts & Services Division. The Project Office Manager is also a member of the Parts & Services Product Line management team, contributing to the strategy and general direction of the Product Line organization. 

Your character – a dynamic and seasoned leader who thrives on complexity, inspires change, builds trusted relationships and delivers results with precision and professionalism. 

To excel in this role, you have at least 7 years’ experience leading complex projects. You have proven experience working in an engineering organization and a sound understanding of project management principles.  

You have well developed experience in leading projects from concept through to completion, including budget and stakeholder management. You are self-motivated and organized, capable of successful follow-up and completion of complex matters. You are a seasoned change leader and have excellent influencing skills and an ability to develop trusted and collaborative relationships with business stakeholders.

You have a Masters degree in Business and/or an Engineering discipline. Additional project management qualification is highly desirable. 

As we operate in an international setting, you need to be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing! International travel will be required for this role.
