About the Role:

 

Plan International Pilipinas, in partnership with the Zurich Foundation, is seeking a dedicated Project Officer to contribute to our climate resilience initiative. As a Project Officer, you will play a crucial role in empowering communities to build resilience and adapt to the impacts of climate change.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate community-led planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities. Conduct participatory assessments to identify community needs and priorities. Build the capacity of community members, youth, and local government officials. Organize and mobilize community volunteers to participate in project activities. Document project activities and share lessons learned. Monitor project activities and track progress against key performance indicators Support emergency response activities, as needed, to provide immediate assistance to affected communities.

 

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in social work, community development, or a related field 2+ years of experience in community development or project implementation Strong understanding of child rights, gender equality, and disaster risk reduction Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and willingness to travel to project sites

 

 

Location: Navotas City

Type of Role: Project-based (until December 2027)

Reports to: Project Manager

This role requires fieldwork.
