As part of the EMEA Customer Projects Operations Team, the Project Operations Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to Design & Bid and Project Management throughout the project lifecycle, optimizing operational processes, and designing efficient workflows related to project data maintenance and governance.
What you’ll do:
Charter preparation and support during the quoting stage of a project up to and including hand-over to the execution team
Define and build Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) based on the technical scope of work and commercial obligations, and maintain the WBS in the ERP system with progress updates throughout project execution
Prepare and maintain project documentation such as Project Charter and Project FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis)
Assist in budget and financial analysis (cost planning)
Oversee and coordinate projects, analyze, monitor, and oversee different aspects such as project planning, billing, and revenue milestones
Review contracts and financials (contractual obligations, T&Cs), understanding and managing risks
Evaluate the overall project (plan, risks, progress) utilizing data analytics
Develop optimized operational systems and processes to improve efficiency and productivity
Provide technical support and training, promoting best practices
Qualifications:Engineering Bachelor’s degree
1-3+ years of experience in project execution/technical support
Skills:
Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office products (PowerBI highly desirable)
Ability to quickly learn new IT systems (e.g., ERPs) and platforms
Basic knowledge of electrical power systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
Ready to work independently
Can-do attitude and interest in learning and growing, taking on new challenges
Structured approach to problem-solving
Meticulous and careful in work
