WELCOMING YOU TO THE TEAM

The Project Execution Section is a diverse and multicultural team with approx 130 team members located in Oslo, Halden and Paris. The project execution section is organized into five project portfolios, each headed by a project portfolio director. The portfolios are responsible for execution of the turnkey and offshore projects within the business group. The workplace is in La Défense and you will be reporting to the Project Portfolio Director.

 

 

GETTING A FLYING START

To succeed as Project Portfolio Coordinator you have relevant education and experience in performing administrative tasks in project organizations and / or line organizations. You have preferably several years of experience – however, the most important for this position is your curiosity, your mindset and your eagerness to learn. You are accountable and reliable, you are self-driven and proactive, you have excellent communication- and co-operation skills, you are structured and organized, you are fluent in English and you are confident being exposed to higher management. You can work independently, and you can seek relevant information from others to perform your own tasks.

 

 

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

You will work in a Project Portfolio assisting the Portfolio Director and the Project Managers in the portfolio with administrative project tasks such as; develop and implement tools to align and improve the coordination of the overall project team, create reporting structure and reports in the projects, follow up and verify the progress of the various parties involved in the project, assist the core team of the project in ensuring consistency in working methodology between all project members, setup the various processes / tools / mailing / check list for project management to ease the coordination of the entire project team, organization of various types of events, schedule and coordinate project meetings, record and distribute minutes of meeting, create action lists and follow-up progress of actions, written correspondence internally and externally. You boost your impact by actively promoting Quality and HSE.

 

YOUR STARTING POINT

Relevant education Relevant experience from project organizations or line organizations Advanced user of Office applications Willing to travel for project meetings, domestic and abroad In Nexans we work in teams and are driven by project execution therefore being pro-active, reliable, precise and high commitment to deadlines is of the utmost importance.
